Terms & Conditions
1. General Agreement
By booking a class or purchasing a lesson package, the student accepts all policies described on this website. All lessons take place on Google Meet for 60 minutes unless otherwise specified.
2. Payment & Confirmation
Advance Payment: All lessons must be paid in advance before scheduling.
Currency: All payments are made in Euros (€).
Proof of Payment: After bank transfer, students must email a payment receipt (photo, PDF, or screenshot) to: melissa.english.elt@gmail.com.
Activation: Lessons will only be activated and confirmed after the payment receipt is verified.
Bank Fees: Students are responsible for any bank fees or transfer charges.
3. Student Lateness & No-Show
Waiting Time: The teacher will wait 20 minutes for the student to join the class.
No-Show: If the student does not join within 20 minutes and no prior notice is given, the class is marked as completed with no refund or replacement.
- Late Arrival: Students may join within the first 20 minutes, but the class will end at the original scheduled time (it will not be extended).
4. Cancellation & Rescheduling
Notice Period: Students may cancel or reschedule a class up to 1 hour before the lesson time.
Late Notice: Requests made less than 1 hour before the class are not accepted, and the class will be marked as “completed”.
Teacher Cancellation: If the teacher cancels, a free reschedule will be offered.
5. Packages & Expiry
Single lessons: Expire in 30 days.
5-lesson packages: Expire in 60 days.
10-lesson packages: Expire in 90 days.
Expired lessons: Cannot be refunded, extended, or transferred.
6. Refund Policy
Non-refundable: All purchases are non-refundable under any circumstances. This includes missed classes, late arrivals, or unused/expired lessons.
7. Technical Issues
Teacher Side: If the teacher has technical issues, the class will be rescheduled for free.
Student Side: If the student has technical issues, the class continues for the remaining time and cannot be rescheduled.
